Job Summary

This Analyst role in the Global Financial Crimes Division of MUFG Bank, Ltd. (GFCD) will report to the Head of the GFCD Issues Management (IM) Data Sourcing, Analysis, and Reporting Team. The Analyst will support the internal stand-up and execution of the GFCD IM program in accordance with the Global Financial Crimes Compliance Escalation and Issue Management Standard, for MUFG locations globally.

Major Responsibilities:
Gain familiarity with the MUFG financial crimes compliance framework, including the roles of Internal Audit and Compliance Testing.
Develop an understanding of global Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions, and Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) regulatory regimes.
Develop partnerships with stakeholders to drive implementation of end-to-end IM processes and procedures.
Assist the Head of GFCD IM Data Sourcing, Analysis, and Reporting Team with internal stand-up of the Issues Management Program.
Monitor the GFCD IM Escalation Mailbox to log and track communications received and action as needed.
Perform Quality Checks on materials received by the IM Team.
Assist in the development of IM metrics and customized IM report generation.
Execute monthly Quality Check end-to-end processes.
Support the Head of IM Data Sourcing, Analysis, and Reporting on regular and ad-hoc initiatives, including reports and other materials for presentation to senior management and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:
0-3 years of experience in Financial Services, preferably in Financial Crimes Compliance or Risk Management areas
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite( i.e. Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word)
Excellent judgment and analytical skills
Team-oriented approach to completing objectives
Strong verbal and written communication skills
BBA/BA/BS Degree
