Job Description Summary

The incumbent is expected to effectively manage Standby LC Section and support other Units of Trade Service Operations and ensure the Sections satisfactorily fulfill its daily processing requirements consistent with the department's goals and SLAs. To assist the department in accomplishing its objective

  • Provide Operational and technical Support for all U.S. Offices/Branches.
  • Strong skills and knowledge of all aspects of Standby Letters of Credit and products such as Commodity LCs, Project Finance deals, CME, DPLOC
  • Fronting and Syndicated/Agent deals, knowledge of facilities and commitments, credit and reimbursement agreements and in-depth knowledge of SBLC draft reviews, industry practice and negotiation of wording to mitigate operational, reputational and compliance risks.
  • Ensure proper reconciliation of all GL accounts including posting of proper liability and fee accruals and timely collection and escalation on all aged and unreconciled items to the Management in timely manner.
  • Special Projects and Support Management initiatives and goals

Experience

  • 7 plus years of Management and Operational experience in Standby L/Cs.
  • Thorough knowledge of UCP, ISP, URDG, URR, ICC 522, OFAC/ Anti-boycott/ other Compliance regulations.
  • Good PC, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Accounting and Reconciliation of liabilities and FeesTrade 360 System knowledge.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-tasking skills.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $95K - $120K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
