Collateral Management Operations, Analyst


Job Summary

The Collateral Management Analyst will support the daily margin process across various margin agreements, including, Bilateral Credit Support Annexes, Cleared Derivatives, Listed Futures and Options and Fixed Income Cleared Products. The primary role is mitigation of credit risk through the determination and calling for margin on a portfolio level


Major Responsibilities


  • Daily Margining of assigned Agreements/Relationships
  • Contact counterparts to agree on margin calls within the prescribed time frame
  • Settlement of margin in Support of Local (NY) and Global (Tokyo) clients
  • Maintain eligibility criteria and customer account master static data as per terms of CSAs
  • Reconciliations of OTC MTM, Minimum Thresholds and resulting Collateral call
  • Reporting of collateral activity
  • Ad-hoc projects as needed


  • 2-3 years of Collateral Management or Equivalent Experience
  • Knowledge of ISDA/CSA Documentation
  • Experience with Regulatory Initial Margin and Variation Margin
  • Reconciliation and analytical skills
  • PC proficiency, Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong verbal and written and communication skills
  • Strong Customer service skills
