Job Summary:
Reporting to the PPM Tools Managers, this role's primary responsibility is to assist with implementation of Planview Enterprise Portfolio Project Management. The individual must have a deep functional knowledge of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) applications and processes and shall assist with the requirements gathering, solution design, testing, implementation, training and support of PPM solution.
Major Responsibilities:
- Interview stakeholders to assess needs to create business & functional requirements documents
- Collaborate with executives/ managers/ SMEs from PMO, HR and Finance teams (for interpreting business requirements) and with various technology teams (for communicating technical requirements)
- Participate in build out of the Planview PPM solution
- Documentation of Test plans, Release Notes, User Guides, Training and other materials as necessary
- Experience implementing/managing Enterprise PPM solution (preferably Planview).
- Experience standing up integrations with HR and Financial systems a plus
- 4+ years of Project/ program management experience and PMP certification is preferred
Qualifications:
- 4-year Bachelor's Degree, or relevant experience, required
- 4+ years of experience at PMO in large and global organizations in implementing and supporting both in-house and major PPM tools such as Microsoft Project Server, Clarity, Planview, HP PPM for all PMO functions including prioritization, schedule management, resource management, financial management and reporting
- Strong communicator who can promote collaborations amongst cross-functional teams.
- Working knowledge of waterfall, scrum practices and SDLC
- Project/Product Management Professional certifications are desirable
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work under pressure, think analytically and communicate effectively
- Flexibility and learning agility; quick to adapt different and new ways of doing things; eager to try new things and present new ideas
- Strong visual sense: Able to develop attention-getting presentations
- Challenges the status quo when needed
The typical base pay range for this role is between $95K - $120K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
