Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. seeks a Vice President, Risk Management in New York, New York
Implement and execute risk governance and risk management frameworks, which includes the periodic review and assessment of the Global Risk Management Principles across the Firm. Responsible for all Risk Management division policies and procedures, including establishing standards for documentation and governance over the documents' lifecycle. Responsible for the Quality Assurance Review process, including developing the assessment framework and standards, obtaining senior stakeholders buy-in, and implementing the process across the Risk Management division. Conduct Quality Assurance Review assessments. Identify, measure, monitor, advise, challenge, and control risks by delivering cross-risk area strategic projects. Conduct risk governance at the legal entity level for non-bank US swap dealers. Conduct monthly risk committee meetings, including reviewing and challenging risk committee materials. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the Risk Management division and the Firm.

QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
Requires a Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years of experience as a Vice President, Manager, or related occupation in the financial services field. Requires three (3) years of experience with: Regulatory concepts and reporting requirements including Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR); Swap Dealer Risk management concepts including Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Rule 23.600: Risk Management Program for swap dealers and major swap participants; U.S. banking capital requirement concepts including Basel 2.5 and Basel III; market risk including Value at Risk (VaR); Credit risk calculation including Internal Rating Based (IRB) and Internal Model Method (IMM); Risk Control and Self Assessment (RCSA); financial products including derivatives; Microsoft Excel; SharePoint; and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Expected base pay rate for the role will be $200,000 to $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
