The Morgan Stanley Family Office (MSFO) within Corporate & Institutional Solutions is responsible for delivering solutions to Family Office clients across administration, investment management, and specialized service needs. MSFO is a critical partner to the Firm's top advisors and clients, and works heavily with the Global Investment Office (GIO) and Institutional Securities Group (ISG).

Role and Responsibilities
The Family Office Client Manager is a senior leadership role who acts as the interface between the Financial Advisor and their MSFO client, and the MSFO Partners across the firm. In this position, the Family Office Client Manager works closely with the Financial Advisor to manage and prioritize client requests, but also proactively propose the full depth of MSFO capabilities relevant to the client unique needs. The role's paramount priority is to deliver an exceptional and consistent client experience while working with different Advisors. As a strategic partner to the Advisors, the Family Office Client Manager drives the response to complex client requests and navigates the Firm's organization to deliver the best solution across topics as varied as investment management, asset administration, family governance, estate planning, family office operations, or wealth education to name a few. Comfortable with ambiguity, Family Office Client Manager knows how to bring together the resources available at Morgan Stanley to address wide-ranging client demands. Key responsibilities include:

• Liaise with MSFO Sales and Institutional Infrastructure Solutions (IIS) to ensure a smooth transition from the sales cycle and deliver a seamless client onboarding experience
• Partner with Financial Advisors to identify MSFO clients' unique needs and deliver the full depth of MSFO capabilities
• Understand, respond to, and proactively address MSFO client needs, including interaction with the Family Office's personal staff
• Drive Firm's response to complex client requests throughout the solution lifecycle, from discovery, solution design, delivery, and post-delivery follow-up
• Navigate the organization and collaborate across different Subject Matter Expertise groups to design the best solution to ambiguous client requests
• Lead client working group meetings to ensure proper sharing of information and align partners on top priorities and next steps
• Ensure adherence to Firm's risk and regulatory policies by strictly following Legal, Risk, and Compliance guidelines
• Keep track of open requests and report progress to MSFO senior leadership
• Keep record of solved issues and share best practices with other Family Office Consultant & Success Managers
• Provide feedback to MSFO Leadership as well as MSFO Sales and MSFO Strategy teams on areas of improvement for the MSFO offering

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications
The Family Office Client Success Manager role requires exceptional client-facing and interpersonal skills, as well as relationship building skills. The candidate should demonstrate a superior ability to multitask and prioritize requests. The role is fast-paced and demanding, and requires to collaborate with senior leadership in various groups across the Firm.
• 5+ years' experience in financial services, wealth management and/or business strategy & management and/or other related fields
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field is required; MBA highly preferred
• Exceptional client-facing, interpersonal, and client service skills. Experience with Ultra High-Net Worth clients/ working within a Family Office highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of investment products across all asset classes
• Outstanding team working, relationship building, and cross-collaboration skills
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills
• High level of attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A track record of success and a demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and discretion
• Series 7, 63, or 66 licenses required or willingness to get within 90 days of hire

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $105,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
