Corporate Mid-Level Life Sciences Associate

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading international law firms, seeks to hire a highly qualified junior to mid-level associate with law firm experience to join our corporate and business transactions practice in the Princeton office in the life sciences transactions group.

Practice Description:

Our corporate and business transactions practice is composed of more than 350 lawyers who focus on transactional and corporate counseling matters, concerning mergers and acquisitions-including joint ventures, spin-offs, licenses, and strategic alliances-private equity, private investment funds, finance, restructuring, securities and capital markets, governance, emerging businesses, employee stock ownership plans, and outsourcing.

Although our practice provides counsel to clients across a diverse range of industry sectors, this position is focused on the life science industry which includes pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have two to five years of corporate transactional experience. Experience with life science transactions preferred, including drafting and negotiating collaboration agreements, license agreements, supply and other operational agreements, and product purchase and sale agreements. Alternatively, candidates with M&A experience or intellectual property experience, an interest in life sciences, and prior experience in pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry would also be considered. Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials as well as strong organization, research, writing, and analytical skills. Interest in working with biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostic and other life sciences companies in connection with their intellectual property, commercial and M&A transactions.
