SCHEDULER/COORDINATOR

Responsibilities

  • To get product loaded on trailers with maximum weight in a timely manner. (To meet the needs of our customers.)
  • Responsible for Driver Set up in appropriate systems
  • Manage VIA/ Door and trailer assignments for product shipment
  • Responsible for scheduling unloading and loading of product
  • Manages Customer Pick Up process
  • Responsible for ensuring accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments
  • Responsible for scheduling loads to receiving door
  • Manages Roadnet system for inbound and outbound shipments
  • Responsible for reporting on shipment information

Qualifications

 

 

  • High School Diploma required
  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Accurate data entry skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Must be detail oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have computer skills in Word, Excel, AS400, Lotus Notes and internet
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure and compute rates
  • Position requires a high degree of organizational skills
  • Perform duties under minimal supervision
  • Ability to communicate with internal and sometimes external contacts
