Responsibilities

Train new and existing employees on job procedures and company policies (to include hands-on plant floor training)

Responsible for training record retention

Assist Supervisors with employee evaluations

Assist with OSHA compliance

Must commit to passing Mohawk Master Trainer Program including CPR instructor program

Any miscellaneous duties assigned by management

Ability to conduct Safety Meetings and speak to groups.

OSHA 10 a plus.  If not, must be completed within 90 days 

Good Communication Skills

Good Organizational Skills

Travel at times to other Florida facilities.

Power Industrial Truck Experience a must

Flexibility to train various shifts

 

 

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

Good Computer Skills such as Word, Power, and Excel skills a plus

Bilingual a plus, but not a requirement

Demonstrated leadership skills

Lift up to 25 pounds

Work at heights up to 25 feet

Capable of working overtime on short notice

Ability to work all shift configurations
