Product Development Custom Specialist I

This position will compile accurate production jobs while minimizing mistakes for a wide array of customers. Candidate will use Nedgraphics Texcelle Software program to create production files. (Brief description provided below)

Electronically prepare carpet patterns for archival storage.

Produce manufacturing-capable design set-ups.

Review finished samples for quality control.
The candidate will have to accurately read and interpret plans pertaining to the commercial carpet process, which details the specific designs to use and how they should be created. The candidate will use the plans and the specific designs (created by our Design Department) requested, along with approved samples to compile the actual production orders, which get printed on our state of the art printers. Jobs vary in the degree of difficulty depending on what the customer orders. This job will require the candidate to scale and rescale patterns to ensure accuracy for all production orders. Candidate required to work with multiple departments to accomplish the full multitude of this job.



  • College Degree preferred, some college required
  • Design background strongly preferred
  • Flooring industry experience strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
    Proficiency in AS400
  • Experience using Nedgraphics Design Software is required
  • Willing to be on call as needed
