Primary Objective:  Learns, understands, teaches and trains all positions and process flow in CMPPF.  Understands product and process specifications and communicates to Machine Operators and Shift Leaders.  Documents all processes and insures training has been performed and audits results.  Provides and implements process improvements to make processes easier and more efficient.


  • Complies with all company safety rules and procedures
  • Learns product specifications and teaches concepts to members of CMPPF as required
  • Organizes and conducts training sessions to insure all members of CMPPF have similar knowledge levels
  • Creates and develops training documents for all positions
  • Facilitates new operator training
  • Documents processes and performs training to insure all shifts have equivalent skills
  • Suggests and implements process and changeover improvements
  • Assists in Quality troubleshooting with shift leaders and machine operators
  • Develops inter-company relationships for training, new product introductions, and quality issue communications
  • Works across all shifts to ensure all team members receive consistent training
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or closely related discipline preferred, or significant equivalent work-related experience
  • Achieves minimum acceptable levels on Work Keys assessment tests for Applied Mathematics, Applied Technology, Locating Information and Reading for Information
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control concepts, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing of goods
  • Proven training results
  • 1-3 years supervisory experience
  • 1-3 years automated manufacturing experience
  • 1-3 years training experience
  • Good math skills, including the knowledge of arithmetic, basic algebra, geometry, and statistics, and their applications
  • Excellent time management skills, adequately managing one’s own time and the time of others within the department
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, and the ability to motivate, develop, and direct subordinates
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must be flexible to work any shift or custom schedule
