What you will be doing:
As an early member of ModernLoop, you'll collaborate with our co-founders and other engineers to ideate, develop features and create entire product areas. As we continue to build ModernLoop and rapidly grow our customer base, you'll be working directly with our end-users to create features that they'll love!

In this role, you'll be designing, shipping, and enhancing existing features of our product while ensuring an excellent user experience. You will be continuously learning new tech and skills, and this role would be best suited for somebody who thrives in this kind of environment!
You could be working on some features of our product: Scheduling, Rescheduling, Interview Training, Interviewer Preferences, Candidate Availability, Partner Integrations, Notifications, and growing!
Our tech stack:
ModernLoop is using Typescript, Node.js, React, Relay, GraphQL & Postgres. We're making use of the latest and greatest SaaS services like Auth0, Hasura, and Netlify to stay focused on our core product. Being an early member of our team, you'll be creating easy-to-use flows for complicated concepts and will be instrumental in designing this architecture.
What you bring:
- 2+ years of experience writing client-side JavaScript, React, Redux, Lodash, or CSS preprocessors like LESS or SASS
- Experience building responsive layouts with CSS and HTML
- Experience with modern browser technologies
- UX and design sensibilities
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Self-awareness, a positive attitude, a sense of humor, and empathy
- You have completed a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience
Bonus points:
- Experience working on consumer-facing products
- Experience with Typescript, GraphQL, and Relay
- The Git workflow, including pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD systems
