Model N is hiring a Senior Solutions Consultant for our Life Sciences Solutions team. The Senior Solutions Consultant will report to the Director of Global LS Solutions.  We are looking for high performing pre-sales solutions people to help our rapidly growing Life Science vertical.  This is a unique opportunity to join our Pre-Sales Organization for someone that loves a fast-paced environment, solving business challenges and helping to drive growth. 

This role is responsible for helping to drive sales cycles with prospects and partner organizations for Model N’s Revenue Management Suite (Global Tenders and Pricing, Deal Management, Payer and Provider Management [Contracting, Pricing and Chargeback/Sales Validation, Compliance and Rebates], Government Price, Medicaid and Analytics).  Key activities include driving discovery sessions to analyze prospect business model and value drivers, positing and demonstrating the value of Model N solutions, building relationships with prospects, and being a product specialist and advocate for our Life Science solutions 


Job Responsibilities: 

  • Lead comprehensive prospect business value assessments and discovery sessions to uncover pain / opportunities and the value of process improvement
  • Become highly proficient in Model N’s suite of products and recognized as an expert in product / solution modeling 
  • Configure, present and demonstrate Model N solutions and tailored Proof-Of-Concept to customers and partner based upon customer requirements and data 
  • Present and lead marketing and vision presentations at events, conferences and a be an advocate for Model N 
  • Work closely with our product and development organization to be the “Voice of the Sales” in planning and development 
  • Generation of product demo scripts, use case scenarios and maintaining demonstration environment(s) 
  • Responding to and coordinating response efforts for Request for Information/Proposal documents 



  • A minimum of 4+ Years’ experience in a pre-sales/solution consulting or equivalent professional service experience selling SaaS business solutions  
  • A minimum of 2+ years’ experience with similar software solutions in Revenue Management, such as Pricing, Contract Management, Rebates/Incentives, Channel Management, Government Pricing, Global Price/Tender Management, Contract Lifecycle Management, Deal/Opportunity Management
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to drive compelling proof-of-value (demonstration, ROI, workshops)  
  • Experience in the SaaS full life-cycle sales and demonstrated success in selling complex solutions  
  • Background in utilizing Salesforce 
  • SQL / Strategy Design experience 
  • Demonstrated consistent track record of goal achievement 
  • Willingness to travel as required 
  • Background in Model N or Revitas product suites
  • Experience at a Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Life Sciences company
  • Experience in Pricing / Market Access, Contract Operations, Order to Cash
