The purpose of this position is to support Meta FinTech Compliance (MFTC) with the management of strategic initiatives and communications across MFTC, between XFN Partners, and to Executive Leadership. As MFTC's scope expands in breadth and complexity, this role will drive progress of high visibility initiatives by supporting greater cohesion among MFTC teams and stronger collaboration with XFNs. We are seeking a motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented candidate with knowledge of legal, compliance, and/or financial technology. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven success building and maintaining relationships across a wide range of global stakeholders, and gravitas to interact with executive leaders. This individual will drive strong cross-functional engagement, monitor evolving regulatory and risk landscapes, and communicate the overall strategy for initiatives within the program to key stakeholders. In this role, the successful candidate will need to execute in high-pressure situations, be comfortable with ambiguity, and be able to pivot quickly and effectively when necessary.

Strategic Initiatives and Communications Manager Responsibilities:
  • Manage strategic initiatives across MFTC Teams, including establishing project scope and timelines, tracking dependencies and risks, and executing against project plans
  • Establish streamlined communication & engagement models with various stakeholders to communicate project statuses, updates, and asks for input and feedback to ensure cross-functional alignment and on-time completion of deliverables
  • Develop communications for Executive-Level audiences that articulate the value proposition of MFTC and its contributions to broader organizational goals
  • Support the design and execution of organizational changes, including providing objective advisory services, conducting impact analyses, developing messaging strategy, and updating RACIs and other documentation
  • Prepare various communication materials, including powerpoint presentations, status reports, talking points, WorkPlace Posts, and memos
  • Facilitate cross-team coordination and events, including strategy sessions, offsites, Leadership meetings, and planning activities
  • Support execution against Leadership goals, understand and translate stakeholders' needs into goals and deliverables with minimal assistance, and contribute to decisions on prioritizing joint goals and deliverables across one or more XFN teams
  • Facilitate the escalation and resolution of issues and risks to Leadership
  • Recommend and support enhancements to existing or development of new strategies, systems, and processes to enable growth
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited university
  • 8+ years of professional experience in consulting, strategy, or program management
  • 5+ years of experience of successfully managing strategic initiatives/projects that require engaging with XFN stakeholders and Leadership
  • Experience working in the areas of legal, compliance, or financial technology
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the experience to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience coordinating program activities and stakeholders to drive change, motivate teams and deliver or support to deliver initiatives
  • Strong content creation and presentation skills, including building and delivering Executive Leadership content
  • Experience to influence key stakeholders through well-articulated strategies and benefit driven value statements

$143,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
