Software Engineering Lead

Role Overview:

This role is responsible for leading all aspects of software stack development for pilot programs within the incubator. As a broad expert in full stack development, this lead will advise on the resources necessary to create MVP's and scalable products. This is an opportunity to drive products from inception to completion, and to work within Daimler on the concepts that will mold the future of Mercedes-Benz.

  • Provide complete understanding of full stack engineering (front end, database, backend, etc.)
  • Resource projects using internal and external (contractor) resources to ensure project continuity, quality and execution
  • Assist and provide consultation on emerging technologies and the benefits to using each based on a project scheme

Minimum Skills Required:

  • Software engineering, Computer Science or Engineering discipline
  • 2-4 years of experience
  • Understanding of full stack development
  • Team building and team management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The ability to build and manage an engineering organization
  • Experience bringing software products to life
  • Understanding full stack engineering requirements
  • Experience in the auto industry and data extraction requirements
