Senior Project Lead, Business Innovation

Role Overview:

  • This role is responsible for leading all aspects of a Business Innovation project from concept ideation to pilot execution. The project lead will identify and monitor the goals, key performance indicators and reporting requirements for the pilot project. The individual will manage relationships with customers, business partners, and external vendors. Further this role is responsible for maintaining best practices for pilot execution as well as subject matter lessons learned.
  • Provide project management throughout the entire development process (idea generation, idea evaluation, incubation and pilot project launch).
  • Analyze, prioritize and enhance further development of new ideas within the business concepts.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of pilot program.
  • Assign tasks to project support team and monitor performance.
  • Complete project reporting for Business Innovation leadership team and project sponsor.
  • Identify and maintain relationships with customers, business partners & external vendors.
  • Work with Business Innovation leadership to drive key business insights, scalable pilots, and detailed business plans.
  • Develop a deep understanding of both the engineering as well as business aspects of project.
  • Keep project on schedule and on budget.

Minimum Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree

5-8 years’ of experience

  • Project management experience combined with the flexibility and adaptability required to with time and budget constraints.
  • Be able to think creatively, work in a casual and dynamic team environment, and have fun.
  • Experience working with data analytics and using data to make informed decisions.
  • Superior communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Be comfortable in interfacing all levels of management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong relationship-building skills and experience working closely with senior executives is a plus.
  • Open-minded, creative individual, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm and a startup mindset.
  • The ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles and solve problems creatively.
  • Proven ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cross-functional experience working with a design agency, tech developer & operating partners to implement new innovation within the automotive industry.
  • Experience working with data analytics and using data to make informed decisions.
  • Expertise in executive leadership communication.
  • Excellent presentation skills and superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
