Role Overview:

The Energy Storage Product Intern will conduct in depth market research and evaluation on how global high density cities can utilize energy storage systems. The candidate will look at the look at the global landscape in order to identify and create go-to-market strategy.

Mercedes-Benz Energy is a new division of Mercedes-Benz that requires a self-motivated individual, adaptable in a fast-paced market. The team member will support bridging the gap between the core sales team and the development team as well as support the product strategy from the ground up. This person will need to adapt and be flexible within an ambiguous environment and structure. The position will require technical understanding of battery energy storage systems and the ability to translate market needs into product requirements. The position also requires the ability to work cross-functionally with global team members.

  • Review of European market for Energy Storage
  • Define product strategy and systems
  • Analyze data and provide recommendations
  • Assist with reporting on global policy

Minimum Skills Required:

  • Masters degree in related field
  • Knowledge of Energy Storage
  • Knowledge of solar panels and systems
  • Financial modeling
  • MS suite, financial modeling and reporting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of renewable energy, smart grid technologies, energy storage
