We are currently looking for a Marketing Manager to work as part of our Daimler Fleet Management department at our head office in Milton Keynes. You will be responsible for taking the lead in driving forward the promotion of the brand of Daimler Fleet Management (and in turn the brand of Athlon) in the UK and all general marketing activities for this fast growing division of Daimler
This will involve managing the Daimler Fleet Management brand and communications strategy and make sure that all our internal and external communications align with our corporate strategy. Be accountable for driving customer growth through various segmented marketing strategies and campaigns. In conjunction with the management team you'll develop and drive the product marketing strategy for Daimler Fleet Management. Develop new and differentiating Daimler Fleet Management products and services, messaging, distribution and marketing initiatives. You'll work in conjunction with the central marketing support, develop digital strategies that will help Daimler Fleet Management to boost the growth of products and services via the various channels we operate. It's important that you learn best practice from our other European markets and develop methods to unlock and connect trends, market and competitor data.
Alongside a broad range of marketing skills learnt through extensive experience in a marketing role preferably in the automotive industry you will have:
- Excellent Interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with colleagues in other countries and freedom to travel in Europe when required.
- Advanced level of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage and work with external agencies providing own creative input.
- Experienced in managing a marketing budget.
- Excellent level of written English with ability to write copy and press releases.
- Experience in Digital marketing including up to date knowledge of trends.
- Ability to deliver and manage projects in a fast paced environment.
