Business Development Manager
An exciting opportunity exists to join Mercedes-Benz Cars in the position of Business Development Manager for Southern Region including Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. This role will see you provide leadership and consultancy to the Retail Dealer Network thus enabling them to achieve prescribed targets for Market Share, Customer Retention, CSI & Profitability.
Reporting to the National Manager Retail Sales your main areas of responsibility will include:
- Establish, develop and maintain strong business relationships with the Sales Dealer Network;
- Promote a “true partnership” across all areas including systems and processes, marketing, dealer coaching, sales training and business planning;
- Develop, consult and review ideal business systems and processes and encourage and support dealers to achieve sales targets, market share and customer retention rates; and
- Assist in developing and implementing the dealer marketing plan, ensuring dealers participate actively in national marketing initiatives.
To be successful in this role you will need to have solid communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with the dealer network and customers, as well as excellent time management and organisational skills. A tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing or a related field would be highly regarded. A minimum of 5 years automotive experience is preferred.
