Job Description

The Department of Medical Physics is seeking two individuals for research appointments at the postdoctoral level for individuals interested in medical physics research. The two-year research projects will focus on the development and application of methods for automation in radiation oncology; specifically, automated segmentation, registration, planning, quality assurance and workflow in radiation oncology physics. The Department of Medical Physics consists of over forty faculty physicists plus support staff working on various physical problems related to the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Strong programming skills and be proficiency in Matlab, Python, Java or C/C#
  • Experience with deep learning is desirable
