Vaccination for COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) is mandatory for all MSK staff. Staff are considered fully vaccinated upon completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19 (i.e., one dose of a single dose vaccine or a final dose of a multi-dose vaccine series). Exceptions from the COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) vaccine requirements are permitted for those who request and receive an approved medical, religious, or fully remote exemption.  Requests for exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved exemption is required to start work.

Job Description

We are looking for Office Coordinators to join the team in our Manhattan locations on the Upper East Side.

 

You Will:

  • Use your strong customer service and multi-tasking abilities to support a practice by providing administrative support to the clinical team.
  • Function as the primary point of contact for patients and field calls in a call center environment.
  • Communicate effectively with the clinical teams via email, phone, and in person and follow up on pending items within the appropriate timeframes.
  • Update and maintain the electronic medical records (EMR), schedule and coordinate appointments for patients, and respond to messages on the patient portal.

You Are:

  • An effective communicator, capable of resolving how to reach different audiences.
  • Adept at building partnerships to meet shared objectives and goals.
  • Flexible in your approach and demeanor to align with the shifting demands of evolving circumstances.

You Have:

  • Experience in customer/patient service is strongly preferred.
  • A proven dedication to healthcare through work, internship, or volunteer experience
  • Ability to handle acutely ill patients in stressful situations with a positive demeanor.
  • Strong digital literacy and organizational skills. #LIHybrid

Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm
