Internal Communications Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will report to the Office of the CEO and will support the overall organization by providing strategic and day-to-day communications. 

Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Writing/creating content relevant to the sales and non-sales organizations within Meltwater
  • Sending out weekly newsletters to the company 
  • Conduct employee interviews and create compelling video content
  • Author and deliver important messages that need to be pushed out from top management / CEO
  • Work directly for and closely with office of the CEO 
  • Responsible for creating "marketing strategy" for internal clients (Meltwater employees), to increase engagement and readership 
  • Take ownership of and play a key role in building an employee app for the Meltwater magazine; take over the app development, help launch it and ensure that it is properly rolled out and used
  • Be involved with organizing certain company events

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work with emphasis in marketing and communications desired 
  • 4-6 years of previous internal communications with a focus on employee engagement and communication 
  • Previous experience with a global company with significant presence in EMEA, APAC, and the Nordics
  • Advanced Wordpress skills will benefit
  • Video editing skills on any platform will benefit
  • Experience working with an internal Mobile App
  • Event planning a plus

  • Passion for creating and building world class internal communications initiatives 
  • Understanding of communication initiatives in a global environment
