Sr. Software Engineer I - Search (San Francisco, CA)
·                Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in local,
networked, cloud-based or Internet-related computer programs
·                Use code in commercial or end-user applications, such as materials management, financial management, HRIS, mobile apps or desktop applications products.
·                Utilize current programming language and technologies to write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications
·                Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance
·                May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications
                                                                                                  SCHEDULE: 40 hrs./week

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
·         Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering or related, or any foreign equivalency
Prior experience must include (may be gained concurrently):
·         9 yrs exp programming in Java-based languages such as Java and Scala, including Java Virtual Machine performance tuning
·         9 yrs exp. in Java Virtual Machine
·         9 yrs exp in SQL to interact with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle
·         9 yrs exp in continuous integration tools like Jenkins and Issue-tracking tools such as Jira
·         4 yrs exp in distributed version control systems like Git or Mercurial
·         4 yrs exp in lucene-based search servers like Solr and ElasticSearch
·         4 yrs exp in data visualization tools, such as Kibana or Splunk
·         4 yrs exp in building automation tools, such as Maven or Gradle
·         4 yrs exp in version control hosting services such as GitHub, Stash, or BitBucket
