Software Engineer - AdOps

To this end, a Junior Software Engineer in Advertising must have the ability to deliver HTML and javascript code in a time-sensitive manner. In their position, they must also be a good team player and deliver software which meets the needs and goals of stakeholders.


  • Create responsive web pages for both desktop and mobile devicesImplement various methods of tracking, including 3rd party 1x1s, postbacks, API calls with custom parameters, and wrapped HTML tags
  • Maintain production schedules while adapting to client schedule changes
  • Setting up 3rd party network integrations
  • Bringing fresh ideas on how technology can be used to solve big problems
  • Develop APIs that control campaign delivery as well as internal reporting tools
  • Ensuring the end product meets stakeholder requirements
  • Remaining current on emerging trends, tools, and technologies in the industry


  • Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Strong background in HTML, CSS, and JavascriptSolid knowledge of object-oriented PHP
  • Process oriented problem solving skills with a proven track record of solving technical challenges
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of current video standards like VAST and VPAID is a plus
  • Familiarity with the existence of tracking and reporting services such as DCM, HasOffers, LKQD, Tableau, etc. is a plus
