MNRN is currently seeking a Director of Admissions to join the team! Job Duties & Responsibilities

The Director of Admissions is responsible for the direction of the inpatient admissions operations, including financial and clinical clearances of prospective patients. The incumbent will be responsible for directing the business operations for the admissions department and establish functional admissions objectives in line with operations strategies. This role will partner with senior management within the hospital to keep them apprised of current census, forecasting projected admissions, and changes with referral sources. The Director will ensure that annual budgeted admissions are met and create an environment that promotes services of the network and system to generate awareness for MedStar Health and the MedStar National Rehabilitation Network.

What you'll need to join the team!

• At least three years of management experience within healthcare with an emphasis on patient access/management; Experience within a rehabilitation care setting preferred

• Advanced degree in Nursing, Case Management, Physical Therapy, or Occupational Therapy required; MBA or Master of Health Administration degree preferred.
