Job Duties & Responsibilities

The Administrative Director of Rehabilitation, Baltimore Region is responsible for the efficient operation of all ambulatory physician and psychology practices in the Baltimore region of the MedStar National Rehabilitation Network (MNRN). The incumbent for this role will ensure compliance with business rules, allowing for maximum reimbursement through participants with the AVP of Revenue Cycle Management. This role will have oversight of ensuring compliance with charge practices and modifier rules as mandated by payer rules and government regulations and lead efforts to ensure meaningful use for all eligible providers. This role maintains all management responsibility of designed service areas, as well as overseeing implementation of new technology in partnership with the Associate Medical Director of Regional Psychiatry. In addition to the duties above this position will provide administrative operational support to the Chair of Physical Medicine and Rehab at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital (MGSH) and supervise inpatient hospital-based staff (i.e. medical secretaries, office assistance, etc.). The Administrative Director of Rehabilitation, Baltimore will work collaboratively with key Medical Affairs leadership in both the MNRN and MGSH sites.

What you'll need to join the team!

• A Master's Degree - or a Bachelor's degree with at least four years of related experience in a clinical/operations leadership position within a healthcare setting
