Sr Technical Program Manager, Information Security

Medallia’s Trust and Assurance Group is a dynamic, creative and rapidly growing team that is responsible for the security of Medallia’s global footprint. As a Sr. TPM within Medallia’s Trust and Assurance Group, you will help champion security initiatives cross functionally and enable the security team to scale and be more effective. We are looking for candidates who are not only passionate about owning a portfolio of security programs, but also feel strongly about creating light-weight processes to bring order to the chaos. An ideal candidate for this role has a strong technical security background, has the passion to make relentless forward progress and knows how to effectively work with very smart engineers.


  • Manage information security portfolio of initiatives and roadmap, including long term strategic initiatives as well as short term projects
  • Manage high visibility cross-functional projects, and ensure on-time execution and delivery
  • Build in transparency and efficiency in project execution, while leading prioritization, conflict resolution and continuous forward movement
  • Ensure clear and periodic communication throughout project / program lifecycle to various internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives
  • Identify and generate metrics to measure value delivery and drive improvements
  • Manage vulnerability governance process across various Engineering and IT teams
  • Drive process improvements across the various security and external teams 
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and collaboration skills to influence change across organizational boundaries in a fast moving environment

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent relevant experience
  • Preferred Certifications: CISSP / CISM / PMP
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, in addition to at least 3 years of experience in technical information security related role
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure and software development lifecycle, familiarity with agile processes
  • Experience with Jira or similar tools for managing work and reporting / metrics generation
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage a portfolio of large cross functional projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience communicating with technical and non-technical leadership
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and collaborate cross functionally
  • Demonstrated experience in prioritizing, driving and tracking key initiatives from among several competing priorities
  • First hand experience performing technical security reviews and providing technical advisory is a huge plus
