Social Media Marketing Manager

The Role

  • Medallia is seeking a Social Media Manager to focus on raising awareness about Medallia for customers, prospects, influencers, reporters, bloggers, and more
  • You will set goals and objectives for various channels to achieve both reach and impact, including Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook, in order to support overall Marketing objectives
  • Medallia is looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and creative - this is a cross-functional position that will work closely with Creative, Product Marketing, Communications, People and Culture, Sales, Legal, and Lead Generation teams
  • You will be a creative storyteller with a passion for language, editing and writing, and possess basic graphic design skills
  • You will develop a strategic plan and manage both for long-term objectives as well as act quickly to execute on short-term communications needs
  • You will recommend strategic paid campaigns with influencers to extend our reach and impact<insert bullets of role description>

Responsibilities

  • Content
  • Lead content development and ensure message alignment and strategy
  • Develop a strategic plan, including editorial calendar, for various channels
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization as well as within Marketing
  • Work with creative team on graphic design support

  • Reporting
  • Develop and achieve metrics-driven success for both brand and lead gen impact
  • Develop business case for using HootSuite or another vendor to support strategic objectives
  • Work directly with Lead Gen teams on tracking and tagging to support overall Marketing objectives
  • Collaborate with PR and communications to support key messages and branding, such as shares or impressions, as well as launches, announcements, large scale events and campaigns

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in social marketing in a B2B context
  • Enterprise software / SaaS experience required
  • Proficiency with Marketo for tracking campaign success
  • Experience with Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and other platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record in both brand-building and lead generation to support a growing company
  • Working in or with a high technology sales department with an understanding of sales cycles and deal complexity
  • Must possess excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills
