The Solution Consultant strategically partners with the Sales organization to shape client programs by:Meeting with business leaders at prospect companies to understand their business goals and articulate Medallia’s value proposition.
Medallia Solutions Consultants regularly meet and shape stakeholders across the client organization, from C-Level executives to frontline employees; CX program owners to stakeholders from Marketing, Operations, and Product or IT.
Successful Medallia Solutions Consultants must be able to tailor their messaging and impact to any of these audiences. Shape Value Creation for our Clients through presentations, case studies, product demonstrations and proposals
Shape our clients’ Customer Experience vision. This means educating our prospective clients on operational CEM (Customer Experience Management) best practices, articulating stories about how other organizations we’ve worked with have approached obstacles and challenges, and generally serving as the Operational CEM expert during sales cycles.
Design and scope impactful Customer & Employee Experience programs that transform the client's business and organizational culture
Partner with the sales team on sales strategy and lead first-hand multiple client projects with cross functional teams of the company
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience managing complex projects (cases, work streams) for complex companies
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Customer Facing role, Trusted Advisor Skill Set (problem solving, advisor roles)
- Experience contributing to and shaping proposals
- Demonstrated track record of success in sales engineering, Consulting, CX or VOC roles
- Strategic Business Acumen
- Ability to travel a minimum of 30%
- Strategic Problem Solving
- Understanding of Business Strategy Domain Expertise (e.g. Cross Channel Customer Experience, Customer Analytics, Voice of the Customer, Net Promoter Score)
- Strong written Communication skills
- World-class Presentation Skills
- C Suite level sales expertise
