Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise APIs

  • As a Sr. Software Engineer in Medallia’s Application Services group, you will play an important role in taking our industry-leading SaaS platform to the next level
  • You will impact the innovation of the Enterprise APIs that power our core products and 3rd party developers
  • Your work will connect the world’s leading businesses to their customers using modern web technologies over a service-oriented architecture


  • Be part of the Cloud Installer and Marketplace team building Enterprise APIs for workflow capabilities
  • Work in an agile team environment with other SaaS/API experts
  • Develop and maintain a suite of microservices that power Medallia's marketplace
  • Serve and grow Medallia’s network of application developers
  • Improve the scale, quality, performance, and security of our core Medallia applications
  • Contribute to and extend open source software that is at the leading edge of innovation


  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience with a high-level object oriented language such as Java, Scala or similar, developing complex back-end distributed systems
  • Passion for building high quality software
  • Experience with building REST APIs
  • Experience with relational databases such as Postgres
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree


  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra
  • Experience with Event Sourcing architectures
  • Apache Kafka experience
