Product Marketing Manager, Platform

The Role
The role in one word: Differentiate. How do we win more deals?  How do we improve our competitive footing? How do we make our customers stickier? How do we get better margins? How do we solidify the standard in Customer Experience software?  All of these questions are answered by an organization’s ability to correctly identify and build upon valuable differentiation. Your job as a Product Marketer will be to seek, identify, and deliver Medallia’s differentiators every day. Reporting to the Head of Product Marketing and working closely with our Customer Experience Strategy team, you will oversee and execute a range of product marketing functions and will cross-functionally collaborate regularly with our executive team, product management team, sales, and client support departments. 


  • Drive Medallia’s go-to-market strategy and influence how we prioritize and win target markets, product categories, and buyer segments.
  • Set the roadmap for launch activities and our go-to-market strategies. Bring Medallia's product enhancements to market.   
  • Help create Medallia's next big products by keeping an eye on market trends, evaluating customer needs, and prioritizing activities with product management.  
  • Take features and turn them into solutions. Articulate and strategize how we solve problems and deliver excellent customer experiences.
  • Monitor competitive landscapes, market trends/threats, and win/loss details to keep Medallia's place as the leader in Operational CEM.  
  • Conceptualize and communicate findings with stakeholders across Medallia.
  • Be a thought leader in internal/external presentations and prospect engagements.  
  • Spread awareness for Medallia’s brand. Develop marketing assets, speak at industry events and on web seminars, and support other marketing initiatives.
  • Be Medallia's champion. Support sales and marketing activities in multiple ways to help grow the company. 


  • 5+ years experience successfully managing product marketing programs in an enterprise environment.
  • Bachelors degree, technical degree or MBA is a plus. 
  • Strong sales and customer orientation. 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, interpersonal and teamwork skills, and organizational skills. 
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable startup culture and environment. 
  • Demonstrated initiative and follow through in a fast-paced, fluid environment. 
  • Experience with and Marketo is a plus.
