Director, Talent Programs and Performance

Medallia’s mission is simple: to create a world where companies are loved by customers and employees alike. Hundreds of the world’s best-loved brands trust Medallia’s Software-as-a-Service application to help them capture customer feedback everywhere the customer is (on the phone, in store, online, mobile), understand it in real-time, and deliver insights and action everywhere—from the C-suite to the frontline—to improve their performance. Founded in 2001, Medallia is growing quickly with more than 1000 employees globally in Silicon Valley, New York, London, Paris, Sydney, Buenos Aires, Austin, Washington D.C., and Tel Aviv.

The Medallia People and Culture team speaks directly to its name. The company’s cultivator of talent, champion of development, and safekeeper of culture, People and Culture defines Medallia both as a brand and employer. Inspired to find and bring out the best, we’re responsible for our people processes: recruitment, hiring, onboarding, benefits, performance management and growth, and support during life-changing moments. Our team balances playfulness and collegiality with dogged ownership of our work. So, what’s missing? YOU!
We’re looking for an exceptional strategic talent management professional to shake things up: evaluate, refine and scale our talent strategy, processes and solutions across Medallia.  Focus areas include talent assessment, performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement. The role reports directly into our Global Head of People and Culture, partners closely with our people operations leaders, HR business partners and business leaders globally.
You believe that we can learn from tradition or practices that may have worked in the past, but cannot and will not be constrained by what has been done or what other companies do. You have passion for talent development - you’re agile, data-driven and scientific but you’re also curious and an explorer.  You push for great.  You crave success through close partnership and collaboration.

  • Empower the voice of every Medallian globally:
  • Develop an employee engagement and Voice of Medallia strategy ("VoM" - our global survey).
  • Lead survey efforts, derive engagement and Medallian experience insights, communicate company-wide.

  • Creative and strategic thinking skills. Ability to turn strategy into practical process solutions
  • Demonstrated solid business judgment. Motivated self-starter with ability to drive results and a bias for action
