Acquisition Marketing Associate

As the Acquisition Marketing Associate at MealPal, you will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Acquisition Marketing and be responsible for managing the execution of campaigns and tracking the results of paid media across multiple channels including (but not limited to) SEM, Paid Social, Retargeting, Affiliates, etc.  You will be extremely data-driven and you are comfortable with testing to scale.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage day-to-day operations of digital marketing campaigns (e.g., SEM, Paid Social, Display, Affiliates) and agencies/vendors associated with our acquisition efforts
  • Analyze campaign performance in Excel/internal platforms on a weekly basis and report to the team as to how results measure up against key KPIs
  • Collaborate with external partners as well as internal teams (including Finance, Creative, Product, and Analytics)
  • Launch marketing tests, evaluate learnings and recommend media investment
  • Facilitate creative production with Creative team for marketing programs

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Have 2-3+ years of digital customer acquisition experience
  • Are an expert in one or several paid digital channels, including but not limited to, SEM, paid social, affiliates, and retargeting
  • Strong Excel skills, SQL a big plus
  • Experience with web analytics technologies and SEM platforms such as Google Analytics (required), Adwords (required), Facebook Business (required), Periscope (nice to have)
  • Ability to track and report key KPIs across multiple channels and campaigns
  • Effective communicator with internal teams or external vendors
  • Highly analytical, can build dashboards in your sleep, and have the ability analyze and translate data into actionable plans
  • A scrappy self-starter willing to roll up your sleeves and drive projects to completion
  • Have a strong work ethic, love of testing, and commitment to continuous improvement
