  • Graduate degree; MBA is a plus
  • 10+ years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience

Who You'll Work With

You will lead the StrategyX team from Amsterdam. StrategyX is part of McKinsey Solutions and McKinsey's New Ventures.

What You'll Do

You will be responsible for promoting the vision of StrategyX, co-leading the team and developing client relationships globally.

This is a pivotal role that requires a passion for analytical content with the managerial capacity to deliver services with real client impact. You will oversee all activities related to the development and delivery of StrategyX services to clients and will work closely with the Board to advance the strategic aims.

You will be responsible for providing visionary leadership and management to the StrategyX team together with VP. You will design and develop an operational strategy to enable scalability and expansion across geographies, industries and functions. You will also manage P&L for StrategyX in partnership with the VP.

In this leadership role, you will have several essential responsibilities – solution delivery, client development and product management. You will oversee delivery of survey offerings, a benchmark report and recommendations, in collaboration with the Mosaic team and client service teams. You will grow the team by sourcing required delivery resources from internal teams and/or external partners and will oversee proposal and project planning and execution, progress tracking, and client billing.

As part of your client development responsibilities, you will educate and evangelize StrategyX's offerings through Mckinsey client service teams in order to increase demand, grow the business and drive direct client development via C-level client conversations. You will review activities at clients on a regular basis to identify opportunities and deliver proposals (e.g., in client meetings or through demos).

You will be instrumental in creating the vision for next generation StrategyX. As a part of this, you will identify market opportunities, build business cases, and contribute to the overall product vision and strategy (defining roadmap, product positioning and pricing model). You will work with Strategy & Corporate Finance and other leaders to understand market demands and ensure that the product direction and strategy meet global needs.
