Who You'll Work With

You will join our Bengaluru office and be part of the regional site leadership team of McKinsey's global support network spread across India. As senior operating leader of the support center, you will work with business, functional, office, and practice leadership and report to the Director of Operations for the centers in Bengaluru, Chennai and Trivandrum.

What You'll Do

As the Site Leader for our developing Bengaluru support center you'll be involved in strategic planning for the location – from real estate requirements to shaping and establishing a hosting strategy for the location and developing and delivering world-class site services.

You will work with regional and global leadership to deploy best practices across the hosted functions (e.g. EA/TA, Finance, HR, VG&M), deliver against agreed upon key site performance indicators and are accountable for the site's financial performance vs. budget.

With your mindset of continuous improvement and innovation, you will regularly review the functioning of site operations and make appropriate changes to ensure continuous improvement of the function's effectiveness. You will often manage and deliver on special projects or transformative initiatives for service offerings.

You will lead the office services team and are required to collaborate and coordinate activities closely with regional and global support function leaders, such as IT, HR, Recruiting and Finance to ensure excellent support for the center. This also involves building effective relationships with the site property management organization as well as with local and regional educational institutions and other community partners to support/create effective recruiting and community engagement.

With a focus on talent management and working hand in hand with HR, Recruiting and business leaders, you are responsible for the growth and development of colleagues, ensuring consistency in role application and career path progression and providing high-quality learning opportunities for team members. As a role model for leadership roles, you will coach and develop team member skills to collaborate in a high-performance manner, act as role model and lead, in collaboration with functional leadership, on hiring/performance management issues within site.
