As clients embark on transformational journeys, there are often a number of capabilities that must be provided and carefully orchestrated across multiple parties to maximize capture of identified value at stake. In your role, you will guide client service teams as they navigate collaboration opportunity lifecycles to craft robust and elegant offers solving the most pressing and interesting at scale topics.

You will manage third party provider expectations and communications (e.g. proactive collaboration feedback, issue management, and mitigation between McKinsey and Provider), as well as ensure projects are developed with tolerable risk (e.g., clarity on project activities and segmentation of accountabilities). You will mitigate differences in McKinsey and provider cultures and norms to simplify and scale project management effectiveness (e.g. quality assurance, resource onboarding). Lastly, you will systematically gather learnings and case examples to continuously evolve to leverage future client pursuits and programs.

As the Partnering Advisor is a brand new role at McKinsey, you will have the opportunity to establish and build a new service line offering focused on ensuring collaboration excellence and optimized client impact. Working with third party collaboration firms introduces great opportunity to expand and enhance our overall client solution impact, yet also creates a number of downstream risks that need to be thoughtfully addressed to ensure success.
