Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Geology, Mineral Economics or Mining Engineering from a reputed institute
  • Junior candidates can have 0-2 years experience
  • Work experience in research, economic analysis or database building
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Superior problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Significant understanding of the industry dynamics of the mining sector
  • Willing to work in a highly demanding and result-oriented team environment
  • Exhibit self-motivation and highly service-orientated work ethic

Who You'll Work With

You'll work with our MineSpans team in Wroclaw.

MineSpans provides mining companies with the strategic business intelligence they need to identify, quantify, and prioritize value creation opportunities in their operations. It combines advanced analytics, a comprehensive database of mining performance benchmarks, and global mining expertise. MineSpans enables clients to assess and improve labor productivity, equipment effectiveness, and reduce costs.

What You'll Do

As an Analyst in MineSpans, you will do research on commodity markets across the Basic Materials domain.

As part of this, you will help to maintain and develop a comprehensive database of mining operations. You will analyse mines in depth in order to develop a deep understanding on the market. You will participate in the company's knowledge-building efforts by creating knowledge packs around your focus area. You will support consulting teams and clients to conduct auxiliary analyses. You will also have the chance to guide a small team of researchers.
