Learning Coordinator - McKinsey Digital Labs


  • Bachelor's degree; Master's degree is a plus
  • 3-4 years of experience as Learning Administrator or similar experience, ideally in an international business administration environment
  • Deep knowledge of relevant processes and systems, and organizing professional events
  • Experience working with Microsoft office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to collect and summarize data, work independently and collaboratively, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to manage senior presence and possess coaching skills

What You'll Do

You will play a key role in the development and delivery of learning journeys and programs on a global scale.

As a Learning Coordinator, you will work with McKinsey Digital Labs on the planning and organization of pre-program logistical arrangements. This will include managing participant and faculty communications, hotel arrangements, off-site venues, ground transportation, and program materials. At times you will perform more complex, less structured program administrative activities and define and codify processes. You will be the expert for and train (new) internal staff on pre-planning and program administration processes.

You'll work with various internal and external parties on the delivery of learning programs as well as manage payments for external vendors (e.g., hotels, transportation providers, external faculty). You'll own projects and be an independent contributor. You will work hand in hand with the Learning Delivery Specialist to suggest and implement planning process improvements. You will also support the creation and maintenance of process and program documentation.

You'll be responsible for providing on-site administrative support as needed and will participate in faculty meetings. You will host online sessions, problem solve with faculty around arising issues, create and distribute program schedules/materials, manage timelines and collect/compile program feedback. You will provide post-program reporting and analysis on learning data as needed.

In addition to working with McKinsey Digital Labs, you will also closely work with global Digital McKinsey and firm Learning teams, people leadership, service line leaders, and geographic leaders to define and advance the learning priorities of Digital Labs. You will serve as an advisor on digital learning-related topics to various stakeholders within and outside of Digital Labs. You will work in concert with colleagues across the firm who are focused on functional learning, on-boarding, and professional development.
