Junior Client Specialist - McKinsey Academy
- Advanced degree (MBA/M.A./Ph.D./J.D.) or equivalent in social science/ similar discipline
- 2-5 years of professional work experience in the leadership development area in industry
- Direct experience with or exposure to large and leading corporations either in line and/ or consulting role
- Experience in leading different projects such as organizational restructuring, transformation and re-design
Who You'll Work With
You'll work with our McKinsey Academy team in New York. McKinsey Academy is part of McKinsey's New Ventures.
McKinsey Academy's mission is to accelerate transformations of companies and countries by unlocking the potential of their people. We do this by closely partnering with business and HR leaders to reimagine the approach to developing their leaders and building capabilities across the organization. McKinsey Academy is McKinsey's center of excellence for leadership development and learning. We work closely with McKinsey Client Service Teams (CSTs) and directly with large organizations to identify and develop opportunities. Our offerings include Signature Programs, Custom Programs, Coaching Journeys, and Proprietary Diagnostics. We also have a cutting-edge digital platform, developed in partnership with edX and organizations like Harvard, Stanford, and MIT, to scale leadership development globally.

What You'll Do
You will help drive our go-to-market strategy, build client relationships, and ensure successful design and delivery of our client programs.
You will work with clients and internal McKinsey teams on topics related to design, development, and delivery of leadership and management development journeys. You will also work on approaches, course, programs, and workshops.
You will engage in client service and bring industry relevant insights and recommendations. You will translate recommendations into pragmatic and realistic actions and collaborate with client service team members.
As a leadership and management development expert, you will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of learning programs, combining the existing firm assets (digital and in-person) with local client context to unlock the leadership potential of our client participants.
You will be a thought leader and contribute cutting edge knowledge – concepts, frameworks, tools and ideas and stay abreast of latest thinking to bring greater impact to our client development.
