Consultant - Healthcare
- Minimum Bachelor's degree required
- 2 - 8 years work experience within a UK hospital-based care or managment consultancy setting with a focus on public sector healthcare, particularly the NHS
- Clear passion for performance improvement in the hospital sector
- Experience in delivering clinical, operational, financial and organisational change would be ideal
- Able to combine strategic and analytical insights with a passion for healthcare
- Proven experience of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities

You'll work in London as part of our Healthcare practice.
Our Healthcare practice in the UK works with many of the public organisations that comprise and shape the health and social care system, including the DH, NHS England, and the regulators, as well as commissioners and providers in every part of the UK. We are helping the system to respond to an unprecedented set of challenges and bring about a high-quality, financially sustainable model of delivering care by working with regulators, commissioners and providers of care. What You'll Do
You will be part of the largest specialist healthcare practice in the UK and play an active role in all aspects of a client project.
You will have the opportunity to develop a strong base of expertise in this sector whilst delivering real client impact. This includes gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses and developing and communicating recommendations for client presentations. You'll also have the opportunity to present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members.
We have a proven track record of successfully providing the healthcare sector with a wide range of innovative and practical consultancy services, including business and clinical strategy, workforce planning, transformational change, programme design and management, quality and productivity improvement through lean operations, financial recovery and restructuring and large-scale change through improvement networks.
There is flexibility to hire at either the Consultant or Junior Consultant level for this role, depending on the candidate's level of experience. For consultants who maintain cutting edge experience, often in a fairly specialized field, our Expert career track may be an option. This track has four roles - Specialist, Expert, Senior Expert and Master Expert. The hallmark of these roles is the ability to maintain and distribute distinctive expertise and drive transformational impact with clients. Experts advance the firm's institutional capabilities and become their clients' go-to advisor in their area of expertise, rather than acting as a general advisor. Growing this population is a strategic priority for the firm as clients demand more and deeper industry and functional expertise.
