Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus
  • 7-10 years of account management experience in a consultative product or services environment
  • Experience with PaaS and/or digital products is a plus
  • Experience in a relationship, project, program and change management
  • Fierce desire to be a critical team member in a rapidly growing, dynamic business
  • Ability to be a stand-alone in senior client settings
  • Clear oral and written communication skills to present complex value propositions to client senior executives
  • A high level of entrepreneurship and creativity
  • Consistently deliver exceptional results and great ideas, are curious, willing to push themselves and want to learn
  • Spanish fluency is an asset

You'll work with our Wave team in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Wave is part of McKinsey Solutions and McKinsey's New Ventures.

What You'll Do

You will use your consultative and relationship-building skills to educate and evangelize Waves offerings to increase demand, and grow the business.

You'll partner with McKinsey consulting teams and Wave client service staff (CSS) to drive seamless implementations in complex client environments. You will ensure clients are engaged and seeing the value of the Wave platform and experience. You will demonstrate and reinforce this value via in person and virtual interactions and will drive additional value by identifying follow-up opportunities. In partnership with the business development team, you will coordinate relevant activities across Wave (e.g., workshops with strategic clients, tactical outreach to participants), resolve relationship issues, proactively problem-solve and act as a client advocate inside Wave and the broader firm.

Additionally, you'll manage communications and the delivery of client-facing user analytics (e.g., usage, engagement, proficiency). You will coordinate the delivery of in-person programs/workshops for core clients, in conjunction with the product and business development team, McKinsey experts and facilitators. You will help develop Wave's approach to highly scalable client management service broadly and take an active part in farming activities. You will develop plans for customers that outline their critical success factors, metrics for success, potential issues, and provide recommendations. You will work closely to identify new opportunities and facilitate transitions following initial or follow-on deployments. You will identify and generate opportunities to expand McKinsey contract extension and renewals process, assist in understanding client business needs, economic buyer criteria and political support.

You'll have the opportunity to act as a thought leader and will work to understand the client needs, industry trends and competitor offerings You will provide thoughtful and informed solutions to meet client needs and actively contribute ideas for new product development, marketing and communication initiatives and operational improvement. You will support development and delivery of training and advisory modules to foster client adoption and usage throughout their user life cycle. In coordination with the Marketing function, you will develop and deliver in-person or remote post-sales activities .
