Qualifications

Who You'll Work With

You'll work in Singapore with our Horizon360 group, a dynamic, fast growing and entrepreneurial team. Horizon360 is part of McKinsey Solutions and McKinsey's New Ventures.

Horizon360 is based on the cumulative IT expertise of McKinsey's Business Technology Office. It offers services and software tools to improve the IT performance of medium and large enterprises and IT service providers. We support the entire value chain of IT performance transformation: quickly assessing current performance, benchmarking against industry peers and best-in-class companies, identifying improvement levers and quantifying potential, supporting implementation measures, and sustaining improvements over time.

New Ventures fosters innovation driven by analytics, design thinking, mobile and social by developing new products/services and integrating them into our client work. What You'll Do

You will use your expertise in IT strategy combined with a consultative selling approach to build and maintain relationships with clients.

You will support the initiative to develop Horizon360's business in the APAC region. In close collaboration with leadership, you'll craft growth strategies and business development opportunities, both internally and externally. You'll work closely with McKinsey client teams, and in particular with senior leadership, acting as a key advisor to help understand and define their business challenges and effective use of the Solution Service. You'll work with leadership to grow Horizon360's value proposition within the firm – this could include organizing informational roadshows for our partner groups, developing an internal network within McKinsey and reviewing client activities on regular basis to identify opportunities.

You'll have the opportunity to identify and cultivate new prospects, to maintain the existing client pipeline with input from the global Horizon360 team, and you'll develop and present letters of proposal to clients. This also entails managing the deal closure which you'll do in partnership with relevant McKinsey leaders and the Horizon360 team.

Additionally, you'll run the delivery of the Horizon360 services to clients. You'll work with client and Horizon360 analysts to collect and analyse client information, and define a storyline and performance improvement proposal; then, you'll syndicate the proposal with client leaders and present it, together with McKinsey client team members, to senior clients.

Related to knowledge building and dissemination, you'll lead on-site presentations and training to educate prospective clients both internally and externally. You'll also be expected to maintain a current knowledge of industry trends and competitor offerings in order to influence new products and offering development by representing the voice of the customer and, where appropriate, contribute to specific product development efforts.
