Who You'll Work With

You will join our San Francisco or Silicon Valley offices and will be a part of our Tech, Media and Telecoms sector. You will be a part of a passionate, energized team and will focus on building our capabilities in client development. In this role you will work closely with our partners, associate partners and other managers as we build up world-class capabilities.

What You'll Do

The focus of the role is to professionalize our client development engine. In this role, your first task will be, together with practice leaders, to design the overall architecture and frame the aspiration for our client development engine in North America. In order to do this, you will start by conducting interviews and problem-solving sessions with our partners and associate partners to understand our needs for TMT. Then you will identify the best practices that other groups have in place and determine which ones are most relevant for TMT.

As the Client Development Hub Manager you will be the "go-to person" for proposal and client-development support and will be responsible for a range of activities. In coordination with the different TMT groups, you will help build the pipeline of client-development discussions and prioritize potential whitespace clients and topics. You also will drive the development of high-priority, competitive proposals and help bring the best of McKinsey to client service teams.

In addition to insights and guidance from Partners and APs, you will manage a team of 1-2 Associates or Business Analysts in the execution of TMT Hub priorities. You will also work with our External Communications team to establish the highest standards of written work and graphics, as well as innovative formats.
