Associate Analyst - Finalta

Qualifications

  • University degree, ideally in a quantitative field such as economics, statistics, business, engineering, etc.
  • Recent graduates or those with 1-2 years of relevant experience in data analytics, retail banking or consultancy
  • Superb analytical and problem solving capabilities
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Great interpersonal and client-management skills
  • Ability to manage your time to produce high quality work to deadlines
  • Knowledge of, and/or interest in, retail banking and consulting
  • Fluency in any European language would be beneficial

Who You'll Work With

You'll work in our Budapest office with our Finalta team. Finalta is part of McKinsey Solutions and McKinsey's New Ventures.

What You'll Do

You will work within a small project team to analyse data, evaluate results, generate actionable insights and recommendations and deliver these to your clients.

You will be given high levels of responsibility from the start, liaising with our clients to gather data, conduct research and perform quantitative analysis.

You will be based in Budapest but will have the opportunity to visit clients across the EMER region (note, this role does not involve long periods working on a single client site). Working closely with the London team, our Budapest office will give you an opportunity to really make a difference by working in a small, entrepreneurial environment and playing a significant role in shaping and growing our business in Europe.
