Job Description

You will work directly within the People Technology team with a dotted line into the Business Analysis function. The team includes technical and functional specialists that are passionate about ensuring that features are developed and delivered with high quality and meet market's needs and expectations. You will work closely with the Architecture team to understand the IT landscape and design solutions that can deliver exciting business changes across the organisation.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Technology team for UK and Ireland. You will work within the People Technology team and play a key role in definition of business and system requirements for BAU & projects being delivered. As well as, engaging with business partners to elicit requirements and craft the solution to meet their needs. Building positive connections across the business ranging from Head office team, Restaurant Services, Franchisees & restaurant teams, Global teams and 3rd party partners/vendors.

What will my accountabilities be?

  • Be part of a fast-paced team that aims to rollout of key projects and improvements in People Technology
  • Work independently to gather & document functional and non-functional requirements, business rules, user acceptance criteria and business processes
  • Collaborate closely with architecture team, People Technology and business teams to facilitate the gathering and documentation of non-functional requirements
  • Work with various partners to review and revise requirement artefacts
  • Enable smooth discussions and resolve conflicts between partners regarding requirements
  • Be the point of contact on features and capabilities to our development partners and other product teams to ensure alignment
  • Follow-up with internal clients about completed tasks to ensure client satisfaction
  • Be willing to adapt business analysis practices to suit the agile way of working where required
  • Remain current on Business Analysis practices, techniques, and tools
  • Become a domain expert in the areas of business over a period of time and be a central point of contact for these

Who will my customers be?

  • Business project sponsors & business partners
  • IT Department Senior Leadership Team, Head of Test, Architecture, PMO and Business Analysis, Service and Support
  • The IT project delivery team made up of Project Managers, Portfolio Managers, Product Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, Test team
  • External - Suppliers and Vendors of Specialist project related services


  • Experience as an IT/ Digital Business Analyst
  • Experience in different methods of business analysis, documents and diagrams in the context of IT/Digital projects
  • Experience of working in an agile fast-paced team or project
  • Ability to work independently, lead partners and raise risks as suitably to meet business deadlines
  • Excellent verbal communication & documentation skills
  • Excellent ability with using Microsoft Excel
  • Proficent with using Microsoft word
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Fast learner who is able to learn about the multiple business areas, organisational structure and working methodologies
  • Enjoying working flexibly in a diverse team of functional and technical people who are constantly learning from each other and working smoothly towards a common goal
