Financial Analyst

The Commercial/Brand Finance team manages US and Canada product margins in collaboration with the North America Marketing team. Our Finance team works on revenue and margin management for Mattel and Fisher Price brands and our clients include Marketing, Sales and Customer Service.

The Financial Analyst will manage the pricing process, including recommending pricing adjustments for market readiness, develops and maintains official price list and line list, and provides ad hoc analytics to adjust for market conditions. This is an opportunity to work across the marketing organization and is the ideal role for someone who enjoys working with large data sets, improving processes and has exemplary organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage North American commercial pricing process
  • Maintain internal pricing systems (PrOPS and LPT)
  • Communicate with Marketing, Customer Service, and Prepack teams to ensure pricing integrity
  • Complete ad hoc analyses focused on margin maximization and competitive pricing positioning
  • Analyze customer assortments and make recommendations to improve profitability and line performance
  • Develop and understand of price elasticity to aid in pricing optimization

What We're Looking For:
Experience, Education & Skills:
  • BS/BA required (Finance, Accounting, Economics preferred); MBA preferred
  • 1+ years experience in afinance or accounting role
  • Have excellent analytical, interpersonal, leadership, and communications skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced and complex environment with short deadlines
  • Must be proactive, high energy, detailed/results oriented andpossess the highest ethical and accuracy standards
