Associate Key Account Representative (m/f/d)
In this position you will be part of the Sales team for the DACH region. Your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Handle the day-to-day responsibilities of the assigned customer channel and direct support of Key Account manager - e.g. for example offer sheet creation, preparation of product and logistical data, submission of digital assets to customers, sample management
  • Independent handling of various customer requests via telephone, email or in-person visit
  • Preparation and planning of customer meetings in close collaboration with the Key Account Manager - new product presentations and listings, promotion plan alignment, on- and off-line activation of Mattel brands via all channels
  • Participation in customer meetings during trade fair (Spielwarenmesse Nürnberg) and regular on-site visits
  • Analysis of customer requirements (based on point-of-sale data/NPD market share data) and identification of potential business opportunities, continuous KPI monitoring
  • Support of new launch planning and forecasting, as well as current order management and fulfillment in collaboration with Supply Chain
  • Full ownership of individual assigned projects - e.g. organization of customer / consumer events, promotion team management during Christmas season, local training exhibitions
  • Close partnership with Marketing to drive instore awareness and digital presence of our brands. Development and optimization of 360o customer & consumer plans
  • Work covers the traditional channel as well as online business / digital sales

Core competencies required for the role:
  • First knowledge and understanding of sales, marketing, promotional principles and local retail landscape
  • Experience within sales is a plus
  • Good level of communication skills:
    • Ability to communicate on various business level (peers, managers, external customers)
    • Cross functional communication skills - Ability to communicate efficiently with various departments within Mattel.
    • Convincing communication skills internally and towards customers
    • Business fluent in German, English and French, Italian is a plus
  • Solid level of analytical skills and strategic perspective
  • Ambitious, energetic, capacity to learn fast, intelligent strategic thinker and capable to build strong and long-term relationships with a passion for Mattel Brands
  • The candidate should also demonstrate a "hands on" mentality.
  • Good project management skills and the ability to handle various projects in parallel
  • Excellent MS Office skills and high digital marketing affinity
  • Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced and international environment
  • Planning and Implementation of various marketing activities
