Vice President, Product Development, Cyber & Intelligence

Cyber & Intelligence Solutions (C&I) is focused on making Mastercard the safest, simplest, and smartest way to pay. As a key part of C&I, the Security and Decision Products group is responsible for the creation and management of decision-based security products that help to protect our network, reduce fraud, improve authentication and advance digital security while ensuring a positive consumer experience. Within this group, the Product Commercialization team develops and executes the product development and go-to-market strategies, effectively providing guidance, support and delivery for every step in the Product Management Excellence (PME) process for more than 40 products.

•Guide and execute product development and go-to-market strategies and activities throughout the entire PME framework to more quickly, efficiently and effectively bring products to market. Work closely with product managers, regional market managers and cross-functional partners throughout the PME process to facilitate:
oProduct roadmap/planning
oCustomer segmentation/value proposition
oMarketing/sales enablement
oInternal/external communications
oTraining/reference documentation
oPeer reviews
•Assess and align product development and go-to-market activities, milestones and details across multiple sources into a single, comprehensive product roadmap.
•Work closely with regional market teams to synchronize global and regional go-to-market strategies and priorities.
•Work closely with cross-functional partners (finance, legal, operations, marketing, delivery, support, etc.) to align product development and go-to-market activities against key milestones to ensure delivery of projects on time and within budget against business objectives and revenue projections.
•Manage product positioning and messaging throughout the organization, ensuring products are referenced appropriately in all internal/external communications and aligned to product go-to-market strategies.
•Create global product materials supporting product launches and enhancements including sales/marketing/RFPs, announcements/communications, training/reference documentation, ensuring alignment to product go-to-market strategies, positioning and messaging.
•Manage holistic product reporting enabling stakeholders to access key product information across the entire product lifecycle.

All About You:
•Expert understanding of the payments industry and processing ecosystem.
•Strong understanding of fraud and cybersecurity principles, processes and players in the payments ecosystem.
•Strong understanding of product development and management principles and concepts. Specific PME knowledge/application is a plus.
•Extensive skills and experience developing positioning, messaging, branding, marketing and communications for products and executing these in product sales presentations, internal/external summaries, FAQs, case studies, sales training, infographics demos/videos and more. Strong visual design proficiency is a plus.
•Superior oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all layers of an organization.
•Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus.
•Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task across multiple complex projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment to deliver quality work against aggressive deadlines.
•Ability to understand and translate complex technical concepts into simple business objectives. Experience with Agile development methodology is a plus.
•Solid understanding of financial concepts including product pricing and business case development. Billing system experience is a plus.
•Ability to build strong, productive working relationships with internal stakeholders across various geographical and cross-functional disciplines (development, finance, legal, etc.).
•Demonstrated willingness to tackle different challenges with a sense of urgency and accountability.
•Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, information systems or related field.
