Vice President, Commercialization
Mastercard develops and delivers world-class safety and security products and services for its customers across the globe. As part of the North America Services organization, the Security and Solutions team is focused on identifying, protecting and detecting fraud and risk to the payments ecosystem all in order to improve consumer experience, improve the economics for merchants and issuers and Mastercard.
The North America Enterprise Security Solutions team (ESS) leads the creation and delivery of innovative solutions relevant to the region that enables consumers, merchants, businesses, acquirers and processors to experience simple yet secure ways to secure goods and services however and wherever they chose to transact. Building off of global initiatives, the NAM ESS market strategy and aggressive growth goals, there are several strategic initiatives on the roadmap that need to be commercialized for NAM.
This role requires a strategic leader with demonstrated success in taking strategic initiatives that are 12 - 18 months from launch and turning those strategies into successful market entry strategies. Understanding broad market trends, market penetration tactics and the ability to identify insights to develop go-to-market business plan is essential. Examples include: Cybersecurity solutions; Digital Convergence of ESS and digital assets, CSID; Expansion of our solutions into new sectors (e.g. Brokerage, Tax; Healthcare) and market strategy for new acquisitions
•Identify and lead multi-product commercialization initiatives, including establishing go-to-market approach (positioning, pricing, communications market, sales, etc) and key performance indicators for products, setting objectives in partnership with global and key stakeholders, and driving commercial implementation to ensure success.
•Translate customer and consumer insights to validate and articulate the value creation of the different solutions brought to market.
•Test, challenge and improve product business cases for overall viability and financial validity, leveraging business and financial acumen.
•Act as an expert, advocate and champion for the solutions under management.
•Recommend product pricing, and oversee the development of training and other product support materials for the solutions under management
•Manage cross-functional groups/teams to ensure compliance to goal setting and performance appraisal processes
•Works with Product Architects and Global Delivery to develop tailored solutions to address customer problem statements using Mastercard's capabilities.
•Completes diagnosis of client's current business situation and related requirements through data gathering, customer collaboration, research, tools development and business case modeling.

•Translating and applying market feedback and insights to lead product strategies
•Setting direction for go-to-market plans and leveraging market insights to differentiate from competitors
•Initiating and managing investigations of product/business risks and concerns
•Creating and delivering compelling presentations to internal or external stakeholders to influence and gain support for initiatives under management
•Develop working relationships with internal colleagues across functions and job families and leveraging internal resources
•Available for Travel: ~ 30%
