Sr. Speicalist Account/Relationship Management, Co-brands, North American Markets

Overview:

The successful candidate for this position will be part of the team responsible for account management and business development activities for a strategic issuer in the Consumer Co-brand arena. The candidate will have responsibility for customer relationship growth and profitability, synthesizing data to develop and help implement strategies to enhance customer's growth and competitive leverage.

The goal is to drive Mastercard's priorities and align with the customer's business needs in a highly competitive marketplace.

This position is ideal for a motivated self-starter interested in developing sales strategies & driving account management with a key US Issuer. This individual should have a general working knowledge of the payments ecosystem & possess strong cross-collaboration skills as the role requires coordination with Technical Account Management, Product Architects,, Product Development, Marketing, Advisors and Delivery teams.

Role:
• Support Account Leader with the account management for several Co-brand portfolios with a key issuer within North America.
• Work with Account Leader to understand the customer's business and market strategies to deliver against sales/net revenue targets for Mastercard products/services
• Ideate and help to deliver strategic development opportunities that will drive Mastercard incremental revenue growth and enhance mutual profitability.
• Develop business plans through the provision of appropriate account and market intelligence and take responsibility for the implementation of those plans
• Provide analytics, including benchmarks to drive Quarterly Business Reviews with the bank and their co-brand portfolios
• Develop relationships between internal Mastercard partners including Marketing, TAM's, Advisors, Product, Legal, Compliance, Security, etc. in order to ensure cross-functional alignment and maximum support for the customer.

All About You
•Bachelor's degree required
•Knowledge of the card and payment industry, with some level of exposure to Consumer Credit Products and co-brand industry preferred.
•Experience in sales and contract negotiations preferred.
•Forward-thinking, with an ability for creative approaches to solve business problems
•Ability to build consensus across cross-functional units, leadership levels, external partners and customer
•Results-oriented and ability to perform in a fast-paced and changing environment
•Excellent verbal and written communication and project management skills
•Customer focus and performance orientation. Assumes accountability and responsibility.
